Job Description
Having excellent knowledge of International Trade and EXIM procedures.
Accurately check documents drawn under letters of credit ensuring that they are strictly in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Letter of Credit as well as all internal and external rules and regulations.
Managerial qualities for supervising import/export documentation, staff preparing Export Licenses, Invoices, Packing Lists, Proforma Bills of Lading, Certificates of origin and all export relevant documents.
Good understanding of trade financing, UCP 600, contracts, letters-of-credit and documentary practices.
Well versed to correspond with companys banks and supplier and customer documentation employees day-to-day basis .
Developing, maintaining and monitoring internal controls.
Revise international trade compliance policies and practices in accordance with changing legal framework and business models.
Act as a primary liaison and develop positive relationships with government officials and agencies to support international trade compliance programs.
Desired Candidate's Profile :
Should have relevant past experience in international trade documentation from leading trading companies or trade finance departments of banks.
Execellent knowledge of the policies , systems, applications used in International Trade processing.
Ability to analyse complex situations and apply good commercial judgement .
Computer literate and MS applications e.g. MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint etc.
